Salah satu doa yang terkadang hanya bisa kita panjatkan, seperti yang pernah dilakukan oleh pemazmur, ialah, "Tuhan, lalukanlah mataku dari melihat hal yang hampa."

Mazmur 119:37 (AVB), "Alihkanlah mataku daripada memandang segala yang tidak berfaedah; dan pulihkan aku di jalan-Mu."

Jangan biarkan aku mengingini rencana yang lain daripada rencana-Mu. Biarlah aku hidup pada jalan-Mu. (FAYH)

Kita perlu memohon kepada Allah agar menolong dan memurnikan hati serta pikiran kita setiap hari, supaya tidak terjerumus ke dalam hal-hal yang salah, melainkan mau menjalani hidup yang saleh.
